Sorry we haven't updated our page in so long! We've had a lot of exciting stuff going on to fill you in on. Little Miss Ella now has two full bottom teeth and the tiny beginnings of her two top teeth. Hallelujah! The all-nighters may be over. Ha! She is also eating just about anything we put in front of her, though peas will still get a pretty funny reaction out of her. She is also crawling EVERYWHERE, quite fast I might add, and is pulling up to her knees on everything and even onto her feet on occasion. Owen is growing and changing everyday as well. He went to ski school in December and, aside from the "slippery skis," he had a great time. He loves to make his sissy smile, and just about anything he does gets her to laugh quite loudly. Recently after she woke up from a nap, Owen went in to entertain her while Mommy finished up a shower. When I went in to find them, rather than standing on his stool singing her songs, he was IN her crib playing with her. It was quite adorable. He is shaping up to be a wonderful big brother. He is even willing to share most of his toys. We are also in the process of enrolling him in VPK, Florida's state-funded 4-year-old prekindergarten. This is exciting and terrifying, as it means we are only one year away from Owen being in kindergarten. We just can't believe it! What a big boy. Sorry about the terribly long post. Look for pictures soon!

Family Fun Outings
We've been lucky enough to have beautiful weather during our visit, so we've taken the kiddos on several outings including the zoo and Wannado City. Tia Maria joined us at the zoo, and Owen and Ella loved all of the animals. Owen even petted a hedgehog! At Wannado City, Owen got to learn about and pretend to be a pilot, a fireman, a paleontologist, and a candymaker. Unfortunately, Mommy's camera died early in the visit, but not before we captured pictures of Owen living out his greatest fantasy-- being a fireman! We should mention that when it came to actually helping to put out the fire, Owen was a little too frightened. Maybe next time. At least he got to dress up and ride on the truck. Check out the pictures from both trips!

Hanging at Pawpaw and Deedee's
Since Thanksgiving, we've been vacationing in South Florida at Pawpaw and Deedee's. Despite a cold being passed around, we've managed to have a great visit and lots of quality family time. Owen and Daddy love kayaking, the whole family has been taking walks, and tomorrow we're visiting the zoo. Check out the pictures from our family fun so far, and look for more from our zoo trip soon!

Firsts!
Ella has had several exciting firsts in the past week. On November 24, we spotted (felt) her first tooth! So far, we have logged many unsuccessful attempts at photographing said tooth. We will be sure to post one when we finally catch it! On the day after Thanksgiving, Ella also enjoyed (er, at least tried) her first solid food. Just as Daddy and Owen before her, she tried homemade applesauce as her first venture into the world of real eating. Check out the pictures to see just how much she loved it. I hope it wasn't Mommy's cooking! Today, Ella is enjoying her first UF vs. FSU game. Go Gators!
