We've been lucky enough to have beautiful weather during our visit, so we've taken the kiddos on several outings including the zoo and Wannado City. Tia Maria joined us at the zoo, and Owen and Ella loved all of the animals. Owen even petted a hedgehog! At Wannado City, Owen got to learn about and pretend to be a pilot, a fireman, a paleontologist, and a candymaker. Unfortunately, Mommy's camera died early in the visit, but not before we captured pictures of Owen living out his greatest fantasy-- being a fireman! We should mention that when it came to actually helping to put out the fire, Owen was a little too frightened. Maybe next time. At least he got to dress up and ride on the truck.
